This is my submission for the Columbia College Chicago Portrait Show held in the Glass Curtain Gallery. I chose to draw someone close to me as a way to challenge myself because I tend to get nervous drawing someone I know. I am proud of the result, and I was able to learn new skills such as creating textures.
