For this collection, I researched the history of women's wear in the work place, all the way back to the 1800s, when it was illegal for women to wear pants outside of the home. In my researching, I came across André Courréges, who was revolutionary for women's wear. He redefined the trousers with futuristic, contemporary designs that were simple yet elegant. I took inspiration from Courréges for this collection in designing new workwear for women.
