I created this project as a part of a class exercise experimenting with multiple layers in Adobe After Effects. My favorite animal is a puffin, so it was very fun to bring one to life through animation! This project was challenging in that it was one of the first times I tried to animate from an Adobe Illustrator file. I had to create the layers of each individual part that might move--such as half of the puffin's beak or a single wing--in the Illustrator file first, then make them move in After Effects. In the end, this cute animation was a successful experiment in working with multiple softwares with multiple layers to create a short motion graphic.
