Kids, Unplugged

An all too common refrain these days is that kids are always "on screens." I wanted this work to show that kids still play outside. My neighborhood is filled with kids on bikes and scooters, front yards littered with mitts and soccer balls.

The sepia tones were used to imply a bygone era when children were outside all the time; before there was "screen time" there was "be home before it gets dark out."
