In my Developing a Marketing Plan class, my team and I were asked to create a marketing plan for Netflix. We spent the entire semester working on this plan and pitch. We began with research of the company and business problem, and then created a creative marketing strategy. We ended the semester by pitching it to our classmates and a few industry professionals.
This project taught me a lot about the process of creating a marketing plan. I was able to learn how to create all of the necessary components to a marketing plan such as the research report, strategy brief, scope/deck, and pitch presentation. I practiced very valuable skills such as teamwork, public speaking, and research. Also, I created infographics and designed the deck to match Netflix's brand identity. I really enjoyed having that creative role in this project.
