Northern Loft is a small music production company founded by John Neff & Conor Ellis, with the goal of bridging independent with industry.

In my years of producing I've noticed many smaller pop-artists do not know how to find producers, or do not want just any instrumental / production from an all-access beat's website, they want something specific, something that's built with a pop influence in mind, something that pushes their career.

I've always had this idea in the back of my head but was never able to see it come to light, until my creative partner Conor got on board and other artists. During the summer of 2018 my team pieced and launched Northern Loft, a full blown company, website, marketing, product and all, we are still learning and the experience has been invaluable to me.

Here are some highlights from the design and studying that went into Northern Loft.
