For my Models & Miniatures class, I combined the aesthetics of James & The Giant Peach and the landscape of my grandmother's house to create this Pear House.
The pear was the most difficult part, and definitely took the longest out of this process. I spent a long time studying angles of different pears, determining the scale, smoothing it out, and matching the colors. I constructed the trees, fences, and all of the landscaping. Most of this model was made out of foam and paper clay.
We paired up with cinematographers at our school to shoot these professionally.
