The Wabash Art Drop is a project meant to create a space for artists and other creatives to share their work free of capitalism and the pressures of networking. Using an abandoned newspaper stand, I instilled a "take one leave one" standard as a way for people to meet each other and get to know their local artists and community members. The project is currently on a hiatus but we are searching for a new box to use and I am working on a short chronicle of the events leading up to the hiatus as well as a compilation of the impact it had and the stories that community members have shared with me.
