This is a few pages from a spec script I wrote for the FX show, "What We Do in the Shadows". I wrote this in my Writing for Television course in the fall of 2019. The premise of the episode is Guillermo accidentally locks the vampires out of the house while he attends the 100th Annual Familiar Convention in Philadelphia, and he must race against time to save them before the sun rises.
This was the first full length script I have written. Before this I have mostly just written sketches or short film scripts, so writing a TV episode script was a big change. However, I found it to be easier than expected. Because of the longer format, there was more opportunity to expand my ideas and dive deeper into the characters.
