By using urban settings in my photography, I wanted to show the evolution of women empowerment. By doing this, I casted a diverse group of women of all colors and body types in a fashion photography type style. Photographing different kinds of women is vital to this series because our nation needs to be more inclusive and intersectional with feminism. Our nation needs to represent all voices and struggles women had throughout history and currently. If we do not understand strive to empathize with others, we will never achieve our ultimate goal of equality and empowering women.
