I was apart of an excellent team that created this Student Short Film. This fiction short film focuses on a group of students that face ethnic discrimination. The film is shot and produced in Chicago, IL.
What I learned from this project is patience, communication, collaboration and time management. By having patience for the actors and my surrounding environment. I learned how to anticipate what may interfere with the audio recordings, especially shooting outdoors. If a scene was interrupted by extraneous noise I would bring that information to the director immediately.
The equipment used on set was a shotgun mic, a boom-pole, 702 sound recorder and three point lighting setup with tungsten lights.
